Racing: John Gosden's impressive St Leger winner Masked Marvel has been added to the field for Sunday's Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe at a cost of €100,000.

The Clarehaven handler has taken the decision after the ground was deemed too fast for his initial intended runner in the race, King George hero Nathaniel.

Ed Dunlop has confirmed Snow Fairy will also take her chance. The four-year-old is set to clash again with So You Think after finishing half a length behind the ex-Australian star in the Irish Champion Stakes last time.

Snow Fairy has recently proved popular in the market for Sunday's 12-furlong showpiece and the filly is set to be reunited with Frankie Dettori in France.

Dunlop tweeted: "Decision made SF runs in the Arc!! Exciting or what and Frankie rides!!"

Also added to the field at the final supplementary stage was Andre Fabre's Grand Prix de Paris winner Meandre, owned by the Rothschild Family, and German filly Danedream, a dual Group One winner, trained by Peter Schiergen.

The three additions to the field for the Arc means there will be a maximum of 16 runners with Seville withdrawn at this latest stage, although the final field will not be confirmed until tomorrow morning.
