THE SOCIAL NETWORK:There was no getting away from Dublin Housewives at the launch of Eyes Nails like Georgia at Residence on Thursday evening. The stars of the TV3 series were in another part of the Dublin club at a private screening, and the programme was also shown at the Georgia Salpa event. Salpa greeted her guests, many of whom were old friends from Pembroke School, on Pembroke Road in Dublin 4. She was looking forward to travelling down to Marbella for a few days.
The PR executive Astrid Brennan, who is also flying to Marbella for the long weekend, was delighted to receive a free pair of lashes, which she intends flashing down in “Marbs”. Andrea Roche took some time out from wedding preparations to attend. She is marrying Rob White in Ibiza on July 14th. Another PR executive, Norman Pratt, was looking forward to attending his brother Davoc’s wedding to Stacey Fields at Cabra Castle this afternoon. Norman told me that Cabra Castle was once the Pratt family home.
Some guests went on to the M&S summer barbecue, which was held around the corner on Ely Place.
