A 13-year-old boy who collapsed and died during a GAA training session in Co Tyrone yesterday became the fourth young person to die suddenly this week.

Patrick Devlin fell onto the pitch at the O'Donovan Rossa GAA club in Arboe. Club officials tried desperately to revive the young player but he was pronounced dead in hospital a short time later.

On Friday, Zeeshan Muhammed, 16, collapsed in the playground of the Marist College in Athlone.

On Tuesday, Patrick Breen, 10, fell to the ground and died during a Gaelic football training session at Drumquin, Co Tyrone That tragedy came just hours after a 16-year-old boy, Tony Parker dropped dead in Moate Community School in Co Westmeath, school in the Republic of Ireland.

Yesterday's incident happened as hundreds of mourners attended the funeral of Patrick Breen in nearby Drumquin.
