For those of you unwilling to contain your enthusiasm for Joyce’s Ulysses to one day a year (and, let’s face it, who can?), the Joycean Survival Kit might be just the ticket.

The team behind it are organising a weekly tour of different parts of Dublin associated with Joyce's masterpiece. On Tuesday, they'll be taking a stroll on Sandymount Strand and pondering the universe, while hunting down a decent breakfast to set Leopold on his way. On February 12th, the tour takes a turn for the ceremonial with a visit to Sweny's Chemist, a Catholic mass and some bathing. The kit will guide you on your Joycean way during this live-action event, including a 50-page pocket manual and props. See facebook.com/BloomsdaySurvivalKitor to book, tel: 086-8185537.
