In a sad surrender to the merchants of bland, Fiat has bowed to market pressure with the next generation Multipla.

As revealed last October by Motors, Fiat has bowed to market pressure and made its next generation of the Multipla more "normal" looking. The car, available in the second half of the year, retains the six-seat format but loses the telltale "sausage" design which stretched across the front and made it so distinctive. Instead it becomes a large replica of the traditional grille, currently on the Panda, Stilo and Punto. Thankfully the rear will retain its convex layout.
