Australia has the world’s highest rate of skin cancer, so they know a thing or two about sun protection; down under, a hat is considered a vital piece of kit. Wallaroo hats not only give welcome shade, they use fabrics that block 97.5 per cent of the sun’s ultraviolet rays, and are vouched for by the Australian Radiation Protection Agency. They’re now available in Ireland and come in a variety of styles and colours.
