The good news is that Santa Claus takes care of most presents for children, but for those who want to supplement what comes from the North Pole, there are a whole lot of options out there. Duffy’s Toyworld, in Dunleer, Co Louth, stocks all manner of imaginative, creative and fun-filled toys and has grown its online presence significantly since the start of the pandemic.

This Dublin toyshop can take at least some of the credit for The Late Late Toy Show, for it was after a visit here that researcher Pan Collins came up with the notion in the 1970s. The site is broken into age categories from zero to adult and covers all the toys that you might need in the weeks ahead.
