KnowledgeBase to guide firms on new law

Interactive learning resource covers new Companies Act in first offering

Dublin-based KnowledgeBase has unveiled an interactive online learning resource aimed at businesses.

The platform includes video tutorials and can also track users’ progress and measure understanding of the subject matter.

The first subject to be covered by KnowledgeBase is the Companies Act 2014, with content created and reviewed by company law experts.

"There is an increasing move away from traditional classroom based learning for people working in professions throughout Ireland, " said KnowledgeBase director Maeve Harrington. "Using a facility such as KnowledgeBase, solicitors, barristers, accountants, auditors and company directors are able to bring themselves up to speed with complex legislation such as the Companies Act 2014."

KnowledgeBase launched in March, headed up by accountant and former Nama director Peter Stewart.
