A 1.6-acre site formerly used by Shandon Bakery at Cross Guns Bridge in Phibsborough, Dublin 7, has been sold by CBRE for over €800,000.
The planning appeals board refused planning permission for a mixed-use development extending to 18,384sq m on the site.
The site has around 150 metres of frontage on to the Royal Canal.
Wesley Rothwell of CBRE has also secured more than €415,000 for a terrace of four 19th century cottages which were extended but are still in shell condition at Westmanstown, Lucan, Co Dublin.
