Munster are at full strength ahead of the Magners League meeting with Leinster at Thomond Park on Saturday, after the return of seven more Grand Slam winners to the squad of 26.

Peter Stringer, Mick O’Driscoll, Alan Quinlan and Tomás O’Leary were all named in the squad to face Glasgow last weekend - though the latter did not feature in the bonus point win - but the rest of their Ireland team-mates enjoyed a well-earned rest.

The historic triumph in Cardiff is a distant memory now, however, with coach Tony McGahan calling on the rest of frontliners.

Captain Paul O’Connell and outhalf Ronan O’Gara return, with Jerry Flannery, John Hayes, Marcus Horan, Donncha O’Callaghan and David Wallace in tow.

McGahan has also been happy enough with the progress of Ian Dowling, who has got himself back into the frame after injury, to include him in the squad.

Munster lead Leinster by three points at the top of the league, with the defending champions preparing to bolster their squad with some international heroes of their own.
