Sir, – I endorse every word of Fintan O’Toole’s “The trial runs for fascism are under way” (Weekend Review, June 26th) in that I look around the world and I worry about the future for democracy.
That article should be writ large on all the TV screens in the United Nations building in New York as a prescient message for all the representatives of all the people of the world, both right and left wing as a warning as to a possible future for all the world – unless steps are taken by true democrats to stop it (fascism) in its tracks. – Yours, etc,
