A 72-year-old man has died in a car crash in Co Galway.
Gardaí in Tuam are investigating after the car hit a wall on the N17, 1.5km south of Milltown, at about 3.4pm today.
The driver was pronounced dead at scene and he was removed to the morgue at University Hospital Galway.
A Garda spokeswoman said the road was open with local diversions in place.
Gardaí appealed for witnesses to contact them.
