A 25-year-old woman has become the 100th person to die on the State's roads this year.

A 25-year-old woman has become the 100th person to die on the State's roads this year.

The woman died in Naas General Hospital yesterday after the crash on Sunday. She was seriously injured when her car was in collision with a bus in the Curragh, Co Kildare at 9.30 a.m.

She was named this evening as Pauline Murray from Dublin Rd, Kildare Town.

One hundred people have now died on the State's roads so far this year, compared to 80 for the same period last year.
