BEIJING - The Chinese dissident, Mr Wang Dan, has appealed against his sentence of 11 years in jail for plotting to overthrow the government, a court official said yesterday. An official of the Beijing Higher People's Court said Mr Wang had filed his appeal. She declined to give further details.
