US agents early today raided individuals and organisations suspected of ties to terrorist financing networks and added 62 names to a list of entities eligible for asset freezes, the White House said.
Beginning at 3 p.m. Irish time, US "Treasury and Customs agents delivered blocking orders and began securing evidence at several locations across the United States and evidence is being secured as a result of these raids," said spokesman Mr Ari Fleischer.
