Two contractors working for Bord Gáis were injured yesterday during a roadside fire at a gas main.
The contractors suffered burns to the hands and face after the fire at Oscar Traynor Road in Coolock, north Dublin.
Three units of the Fire Brigade attended, and the workers were taken to hospital. Bord Gáis has opened an investigation.
