Edinburgh - The Scottish Secretary, Dr John Reid, paid tribute last night to former Labour MP Mr Willie Hamilton, who has died.
"Willie Hamilton was a man of principle, style and humour. He had a razor-sharp, principled tongue that could wound without hurting."
Mr Hamilton (82), famous for his constant attacks on the royal family, was MP for Fife Central from 1951 to 1987.
