Gardaí have issued details of traffic arrangements to facilitate today's State funeral of former taoiseach, Charles J Haughey.
The funeral mass will take place at 12pm at Donnycarney Church and the cortege will take the following route:
Donnycarney Church, Malahide Road, Artane Roundabout, Malahide Road, Tonlegee Road, Kilbarrack Road, Dublin Road, Sutton Cross, Greenfield Road, Carrickbrack Road.
The following restrictions will be in place from 11am until about 3pm:
Northbound traffic will be diverted on the Malahide Road at Griffith Avenue junction.
Cars and large goods vehicles will then be diverted along Griffith Avenue and Copeland Avenue.
Heavy goods vehicles will be diverted along Griffith Avenue. HGV's on the M1 heading for Dublin Port and the city centre will be diverted along the N1 towards Drumcondra and onto Clonliffe Road.
Southbound traffic on the Malahide Road will be diverted at Kilmore Road along Skelly's Lane, Beaumont Road and Grace Park Road.
Eastbound traffic on Collins Avenue will be diverted at Gracepark Road/Beaumont Road.
Westbound traffic travelling westbound on Collins Avenue will be diverted at the Howth Road junction and along the Howth Road.
Two car parks will be open to the public on Malahide Road at Maypark (for traffic from the north) and Dublin Fire Brigade Headquarters (for traffic from the city/south).
A one-way system will operate around Howth Head from 11am until 5pm.
