Three men yesterday appeared in court yesterday charged with murdering a man at a bonfire in Larne, Co Antrim.
Mr Alan Murray (21), and Mr David Murray (27), who are brothers, of Sallagh Park North, Larne, and Mr Ryan Robert Connor of Linn Road, Larne, denied at Ballymena Magistrate's Court killing Andrew Cairns (22) at the bonfire last week during the 12th of July celebrations.
Ms Joslyn Magill of Circular Road, Larne, was charged with assisting the offenders and withholding information.
The court was told that when the charges were put to the woman, she replied to police: "I did drive somebody away from the scene but I did not know he was involved in a shooting or anything."
The three men were remanded to appear in court again on July 28th. A bail application will be lodged today for the woman.
