British police were last night holding three men for questioning in relation to the activities of dissident republicans and the ongoing feud in Limerick.

The three were being held in Morecambe, Lancashire.

They were arrested yesterday afternoon after a search on a commercial premises during which two handguns and a rifle were discovered. The arrests form part of an ongoing operation by gardai in conjunction with British police.
