Sinn Fein is demanding that the RUC ban a parade by the Royal Black Preceptory due to take place in Pomeroy, Co Tyrone, tomorrow night. Residents are threatening to block the march if it is not rerouted. Councillor Sean Begley of Sinn Fein said the residents had already compromised by allowing the organisation to march through the town last weekend.
Meanwhile, the RUC has restricted both nationalist protesters and members of the Royal Black Preceptory who are due to march in Bellaghy, Co Derry, on Saturday.
