Racing: Sariska and Midday, first and second in the Epsom Oaks, are set to clash again in Sunday's Irish Oaks at the Curragh. The pair, trained by Michael Bell and Henry Cecil respectively, are among 12 fillies to have stood their ground for the Curragh Classic.

Just a head separated them at Epsom and both have been supplemented at a cost of €58,000.

Richard Hannon’s The Miniver Rose finished fifth at Epsom, while Jim Bolger’s Oh Goodness Me was seventh and they both try again.

Aidan O’Brien has won the race for last three years, with Moonstone his most recent scorer, and has Chirkova and Roman Empress to choose from.

John Oxx has star three-year-old colt Sea The Stars in his yard and he will be hoping either Beauty O’Gwaun or Roses For The Lady can further add to his Classic tally this term.

Dermot Weld’s Grace O’Malley, Belle Chose, Destined For Fame and Rory Anna complete the possibles.
