Racing:Ruby Walsh capped another memorable season by taking the Leading Rider award for the sixth time in succession in the Irish National Hunt Awards. His sister Katie also picked up a Special Recognition award at the function in Adare on Sunday night

.They were not the only family pairing honoured by over 200 guests as the father and son due of Willie and Patrick Mullins and mother and daughter Pamela and Nina Carberry also picked up awards.

Ruby took the Irish Champion Jockey title and was also second highest prize money winner in the UK despite not being based there. It was the eighth time in the last 11 years he took the leading rider award.

Katie was honoured for her achievements during the season which included two wins at the Cheltenham Festival.

Willie Mullins took all of the training awards, being Champion and Leading Trainer while also receiving an award as the Leading Trainer of Mares. His son Patrick was once again the Leading Qualified Rider.

Nina Carberry took the Leading Lady Rider Award for the fifth time in succession, while her mother Pamela received the National Hunt Special Award.
