A post-mortem was carried out yesterday on the body of a 26-year-old man who died in Garda custody in Dungarvan, Co Waterford.
The man was found hanging in his cell at about 3 p.m. on Thursday, about two hours after being arrested under Section 17 of the Domestic Violence Act 1996 after an alleged incident at the home of his former partner. He had been due to appear in court later that afternoon.
