A Palestinian was shot dead by Israeli fores in the West Bank city of Jenin today,Palestinian security sources said.
Ahmed Stity (45) was shot in the head at a fruit market, they said.
Elsewhere, an Israeli military spokesman said Palestinians fired a mortar shell on an Israeli settlement in the Gaza Strip. He said there were no casualties.
