World airways, a major US carrier, will operate new services into Shannon airport from New York (Newark) and Los Angeles from next June.
The service was announced yesterday by Mr Barry O'Shea, Aer Rianta general manager at Shannon. World Airways, he said, will also have technical services at Shannon from February 16th, on services between New York and Tel Aviv.
