KIEV - The Chernobyl power station, site of the world's worst nuclear accident 10 years ago, has no money to buy fuel and may have to stop one of its two working reactors, a senior Ukrainian official said yesterday.

Mr Olexander Zinyuk, a top aide to Ukraine's nuclear energy authority, said Chernobyl's number three reactor could he shut down as early as this weekend.
