Rugby:Leicester's Johne Murphy will join Munster at the end of the season after agreeing a two-year deal with the Irish province.
The 25-year-old Ireland ‘A’ international joined the Tigers on loan in the 2005/06, the same season he was called up to the Ireland Churchill Cup squad.
Murphy has made 93 appearances for the Tigers scoring 27 tries and was their leading try scorer last season.
"Munster are delighted to sign a young ambitious Irish outside back such as Johne,” said Munster coach Tony McGahan. “After being part of a very successful period with Leicester we look forward to Johne's participation on and off the field with Munster.
“His strong ball carrying, strong individual defence and finishing ability from either wing or fullback are some of the attributes we are looking forward to Johne bringing to the backline division."
