A Dublin youth has been charged at the Special Criminal Court with taking part in a "Real IRA" training camp discovered by gardai in Co Meath last year. The 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was the eighth person to be charged in connection with the training camp.
He was charged yesterday under the Offences Against the State Act with participating in training or drilling in the use of firearms, the unlawful possession of an assault rifle, pistol and sub-machinegun and ammunition, at Herbertstown, Stamullen, Co Meath, last October 20th. He was remanded in custody until today.
