Man remanded over Cork cocaine haul

A man has been remanded in custody charged in connection with this week's €107 million cocaine seizure in Co Cork.

A man has been remanded in custody charged in connection with this week's €107 million cocaine seizure in Co Cork.

Gerard Hagan (22) who has an address in Liverpool, appeared at a special sitting of Clonakilty District Court today where he was charged with posseession of cocaine and possession of cocaine with intent to supply at Dun Lough Bay, Mizen Head on July 2 nd.

The court heard Mr Hagan made no reply when charged.

There was no application for bail.

Mr Hagan was granted free legal aid and remanded in custody to appear in Dunmanway District Court next Wednesday.
