A 19-year-old man has died following a collision between a car and lorry in Co Tipperary early this morning.
The collision happened shortly before 12.30am on the R505 at Glasdrum, Cappawhite.
The driver of the car was killed in the incident while his female passenger was taken to Clonmel hospital with injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.
The R505 remains closed while a forensic examination takes place.
