A man suffered a serious head injury during an assault in Co Tyrone, police said today.
The victim (21) was taken to hospital in a potentially critical state following the attack at Scarffes Entry, Omagh, in the early hours of today.
A suspect (16) has been arrested and he is assisting police with their inquiries. The incident is not believed to be a hate crime. Detectives appealed for anybody with information to contact them.
