Man hospitalised after Dubin city stabbing

A man (29) is in hospital after he was stabbed in Dublin's city centre last night.

A man (29) is in hospital after he was stabbed in Dublin's city centre last night.

The stabbing happened on Bachelor's Walk near the Ha'penny Bridge at around 2.30 a.m.

Two people have been arrested and are being held for questioning in Store Street Garda station.

The victim is in a stable condition in the Mater Hospital. It is understood he suffered a number of wounds to the side of his body, and gardaí believe a broken bottle may have been used in the attack.
