Gardaí were last evening examining the scene of a man’s death at the foot of stairs in Sligo town.
The 36-year-old Slovenian, a single man, was found dead shortly after 4pm yesterday in a house on Knappagh Road, opposite the Great Southern Hotel.
Gardaí said there were some bloodstains around the head but they had not yet decided whether to call in the State Pathologist.
