Man dies after Rathkeale stabbing incident

Gardaí are describing as suspicious the death of a man in Rathkeale in Co Limerick last night.

Gardaí are describing as suspicious the death of a man in Rathkeale in Co Limerick last night.

The victim, in his late twenties, was admitted to hospital following a disturbance in a house in Rathkeale in the early hours of the morning. He was pronounced dead on arrival at a hospital in Limerick.

The victim was identified as Mr David Sheridan, aged 30,a father of three.

It is believed he died from stab wounds. A man has been arrested in connection with the death.
