A 44-year-old man was charged with having abducted and sexually assaulted a child in Belfast yesterday.
The man was also charged with having groomed the child, said police.
He was arrested in the east of the city yesterday.
His apprehension followed an incident which involved a child who was under the age of 13.
He is now due to appear in Belfast Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
