Man admits manslaughter

A man has pleaded guilty at the Central Criminal Court to killing a Kerry musician 12 years ago.

A man has pleaded guilty at the Central Criminal Court to killing a Kerry musician 12 years ago.

Robert Anthony (61), from England with a previous address at Derrylough, pleaded not guilty of murder but guilty of the manslaughter of Philip O’Sullivan (19) at Derrylough, Tuosist, Killarney, on August 22nd, 1997.

The plea was accepted by the State. Anthony was remanded in custody for sentencing until October 6th.
