Beirut - The Lebanese army's hunt for the anti-Western cleric, Sheikh Sobhi Tufaili, entered a third day yesterday but government troops eased a siege of his home village of Britel to allow the funeral of his aide, killed in an army assault on Friday.

State television reported 50 casualties in the battles that erupted in Baalbek on Friday but the number of dead was unclear.
