Irish telecoms group ITG has signed an agreement with Germany's E-Plus Mobilfunk for the distribution of prepaid cellular codes.

E-Plus is one of four cellular operators in Germany and has more than four million prepaid subscribers, to which it provides a full range of services including pre-paid cellular.

The company markets its pre-paid scratch cards through its own E-plus retail outlets, and through a variety of independent service providers and retailers.

E-plus will be the first cellular operator to offer the ITG solution to pre-paid cellular customers in the German market.

Mr John Nagle, ITG's chief executive said "We're delighted to have been able to complete this deal with E-Plus Mobilfunk. It's further evidence of our ability to deliver world class electronic transaction solutions that can satisfy the requirements of Europe's leading operators."
