Intel Ireland 'a great place to work', finds Fortune

The Irish operation of chip maker Intel has been named in a list of the best ten companies in Europe to work for.

Intel Ireland is named in Fortune Magazine's "10 Great Companies to Work for in Europe" along with Ferrari, H&M, Bacardi Martini and Nestle.

The magazine says employees at Intel's Leixlip campus "raved about the opportunities open to them. They liked that they could move around to different jobs and further their education at Intel's expense. They also appreciated the clear communications and the cheap, spacious cafeteria."

Intel Ireland is a "very fair place," Mr Wayne Kavanagh, who has worked in Leixlip for seven years, tells the magazine. "If you have an issue, nine times out of ten it's resolved. And if it's not, you can always go above and above and above."
