David Ginola has brought an end to his spell at Aston Villa for now by signing for Everton until the end of the season.
Ginola's move was confirmed by his agent Chantal Stanley on the Frenchman's website.
Ginola is Walter Smith's second capture today after Republic of Ireland international Lee Carsley moved from Coventry in a £1.9 million sterling deal.
Everton become the 35-year-old former France winger's fourth English club after his earlier stints with Newcastle, Tottenham and Villa.
