Gardai are investigating the death of a man who was assaulted in Limerick last month.
The 25-year-old died yesterday afternoon in Cork Regional Hospital where he was being treated for injuries following a fight in Limerick on February 19th.
A Garda forensic team is examining the scene of the original assault and a post mortem will be carried out on the dead man today. His name has not yet been released.
