A Book of Evidence is not ready in the case of a Dublin man accused of murdering his wife last year, Dublin District Court heard yesterday. Mr David Murphy (35), of Munster Street, Phibsborough, is accused of murdering his wife, Patricia, on May 28th last year.

Ms Grainne Glynn, for the State, asked for a further sixweek remand. Ms Jenny McGeever, for the defence, asked that service be made peremptory for the next date. Judge Catherine Murphy refused the application but said she would consider making it peremptory on the next appearance and remanded the defendant on continuing bail.
