Det Garda Jerry McCabe will be buried with full honours on Monday after Requiem Mass at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church on the Ennis Road in Limerick city. His remains will be removed to the church at 8.30 p.m. tomorrow. The burial will take place at Mount St Oliver Cemetery in the city.
Garda McCabe is survived by his wife, Ann, and five children: John, a garda stationed in Co Monaghan; Mark, a student; Ian Stacey, who is sitting the Leaving Certificate and Ross, who is sitting the Junior Certificate.
