A religious brother accused of molesting boys was returned for trial to the circuit court yesterday. The 56-year-old Franciscan appeared in Kilmainham District Court on 58 charges of molesting young boys. He is charged with gross indecency and buggery of six boys between 1975 and 1983 in locations including Dublin, Grey stones, Salthill and Millstreet.
Judge Brian Kirby returned him to the Circuit Criminal Court on £1,000 bail.
