SINGAPORE - The Singapore government yesterday advised people to remain loyal to their spouses to avoid infection of the HIV virus. The number of new HIV cases in the city state rose by 25 per cent in 1996. The Ministry of Health, said there were now 558 HIV cases. It said 271 of them had AIDS.
