Dublin west TD Mr Liam Lawlor has until midnight tonight to deliver his financial records to the Flood tribunal.

Dublin west TD Mr Liam Lawlor has until midnight tonight to deliver his financial records to the Flood tribunal.

Mr Lawlor, who was jailed for a month by the High Court in February for non-compliance with the tribunal, is expected to meet the deadline.

Mr Lawlor said he will deliver all the documents required from him by the tribunal before the expiry of the deadline.

A source close to the TD said he had done "all humanly possible" to comply with the court's order and "can't do anything more".

The Taxing Master was due to make a ruling on a claim by the tribunal for €243,000 in costs from Mr Lawlor. However a spokeswoman told ireland.comthat this ruling will not be made today.
