Cork couple win £2.1m Lotto jackpot

A new millionaire couple emerged in the south yesterday having scooped the Lotto pool of £2.1 million.

A new millionaire couple emerged in the south yesterday having scooped the Lotto pool of £2.1 million.

The lucky couple are understood to be Mr Tadgh Cronin and his wife, Anne, of Carrigaline, in Co Cork, in their 30s. Mr Cronin is a store supervisor with the National Blood Transfusion Service in Cork and his wife is a technician there. They have three children.

The winning "quick-pick" ticket, with the numbers 14, 15, 29, 31, 37 and 39, was bought at a grocery store owned by Mr Paul O'Kelly-Lynch, at High Street, on the Douglas Road, in Cork.
