Two Co Wicklow brothers yesterday arrived in Barbados, having completed the 3,000mile Atlantic challenge rowing race in fifth place. Peter and Eamon Kavanagh, from Arklow, had been two months at sea. They were among 30 crews that set off from Tenerife on October 12th.

They completed the race in 58 days, arriving at Port St Charles shortly after 1 p.m. Irish time yesterday.
