Soccer:Despite bearing down on their third league title in a row, Bohemians have had just one player named in the PFAI Team of the Year and defender Brian Shelley is also the sole Dalymount representative in the six-man shortlist for Player of the Year.

For the individual award, Shamrock Rovers are represented by goalkeeper Alan Mannus and striker Gary Twigg, while Sligo's Pádraig Amond and Richie Ryan, along with Shaun Williams of Sporting Fingal, are recognised.

Bohemians striker Paddy Madden is nominated in the Young Player of the Year category and will contest it with Jake Kelly of Bray Wanderers and Williams.

FAI Cup finalists Sligo and Rovers have four players each named in the Team of the Year, while St Patrick's Athletic (Conor Kenna), Bohs and Sporting (Williams again) each have one.
